I think it all depends on which molds you have. Nostalgia is always a big thing.

I just might have an idea for you. You wouldn't happen to have unique vases, would you? Especially nostalgic designs. I just happen to know of a terrific guy in PA, who owns a flower shop. He's always on the look out for the vintage designs.

You'll have to let me know what you have. I just might be able to help put you to work. :)

Judy, I have read your article on "Having Trouble Selling", Well in the 80's I had a small ceramic shop, my house burned down and I lost everything, after being in business 9 months. I was a beginner myself so I gave up.
We just bought a fish camp in Toledo Bend, LA and lo and behold I inheirted 350 molds, paints, pouring table and 2 kilns. I didn/t think there was still an interest in ceramics anymore. I thought I would use these molds for resin or cement, which in my area is popular mediums for crafts.
Now after reading your article, these 1980's molds are looking pretty good. Can I use these same molds for any other medium?
I am enjoying your blog and other things you offer here.
Thanks,
Chickie

I've just learned this law covers items sold after Feb.10, not just those made after that date. All sorts of children's shops and second hand stores, will go out of business, as a result. There stock will have to simply go to the city dump.

How's that, for looking out for U.S. citizens?
